Hi, I’m Owen. I’m pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering with an extended major in Artificial Intelligence at HKUST, and I’m from Hong Kong. I approach the market the way an engineer approaches any hard problem: define it precisely, measure everything, and trust the evidence over the story.
Most traders lose to the same two things, emotion and luck. O8EN Trading is my answer to both: systems where every decision follows a written rule, and every number is one I’m happy to put my name to.
I’m an individual trader, and I built these three systems first for my own use. Now I’m opening them to a small group of early users.

Why O8EN?
The 8 is a W crossed with an M: Owen and Omen. Where they cross, they form an eye.
An omen is a sign of what’s coming, and reading what’s coming is exactly what every signal here is built to do. That is also why the line on the front page says: read the signs, trade the plan.
On a price chart, a W is a double bottom and an M is a double top. In the logo the green W climbs, the red M falls, and the gem sits where they cross.

Plenty of trading tools look perfect because they quietly rewrite the past. O8EN Trading doesn’t.
- No repaintingA signal is fixed the moment it appears. Many retail indicators redraw their signals after the fact, so the past always looks perfect. O8EN Trading never does: a marker stays exactly where it appeared, winners and losers alike.
- Honest numbersEvery result on this site names the dates it covers and the market it is compared with, and the bad years sit in the charts next to the good ones.
